INM Out The Door nail Lacquer Swatch & Review

I'm back!

I have some polishes from INM Out The Door Nail Lacquer to show you guys. I was very excited when I received this package! I have never used any of their products before.

INM (International Nail Manufacturers) must have product has been their Out The Door top coat, which I also received to review. They also provide acrylic sculpting systems, gel systems, odorless acrylic systems, colored acrylics, lacquers and gel polish.

I received some of their core line polishes to review along with base coat, top coats and a pen corrector which I will show you guys in another post. So let's get started on the polishes.

Vanilla Zilla

Vanilla Zilla is an off white, very light grey creme polish. This could be a one coater with careful application. For best results I did two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat.

Celine's Jelly Bean

Celine's Jelly Bean is a soft pink creme polish. My swatch shows two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat.  I love pink polishes and this is one has great formula.

Tangerine Dream

Tangerine Dream is a red orange polish with an almost jelly like formula. My swatch shows two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat. A third coat may be needed if you aren't a fan of VLN (visible nail line). My nails are short so I had no problems with that.

Bananigans

Bananigans is a bright yellow creme polish. My swatch shows two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat. I really like this yellow.

Green Machine

Green Machine is an olive green shade. My swatch shows two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat. Honestly I'm not a fan of these types of greens on myself. But I don't have anything like this so I will definitely use it in nail art.

Huckleberry Fairy

Huckleberry Fairy is a dark indigo creme polish. My swatch two thin coats plus Out The Door top coat. This does stain the cuticles a bit so be careful with application. I didn't have any staining on my actual nails so that's a plus for me.

These all had wonderful formulas. Most could be one coaters if you do thick coats. I'm sure they would be great for stamping. I enjoyed most of the colors.

The top coat does dry quick, it has a strong odor but I think that's pretty common with fast drying top coats. It's definitely different than Seche Vite which is what I have always used but I will be using this one for a bit to see how well it lasts.

St. Patrick's Day Collab

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Are ya'll wearing your green? My daughter was asked to wear green today for preschool but unfortunately she has no green. So I sent her in a yellow top. Close enough right?

Anyway back to nails. A group of awesome ladies and I are part of The Nail Art Squad and we did our first group collab for St. Patrick's Day. I'm so excited to be a part of this group! They're all wonderful and so sweet!

Polish pictured China Glaze Shore Enuff

I used China Glaze Shore Enuff, Zoya Tomoko and Shinespark Polish 90's Kids Collection over Holographic Pearls. My four leaf clovers could use some work but I was in a bit of a rush. I still love how these turned out!

Neon Fishtail Nails

Hello!

It's been a bit cloudy around here so I did some bright nails to cheer me up. I have only done the fishtail design once before and I really liked it so I wanted to try it again.

So let's take a look at these neon nails.

Matte neon nails

I started with a white base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White plus top coat. I cut up small pieces of striping tape and set them all aside so they would be ready.

I started applying the tape in a fishtail pattern after the base was completely dry. Then with a detail brush I filled it each section with a different colored polish. I worked one nail at a time to avoid the polish from drying too quick. I removed the tape as quickly as possible and cleaned up around the nail. Applied one coat of Seche Vite top coat followed by one coat of Zoya Matte Velvet top coat to finish the look.

Zoya Petals Spring 2016 Swatch & Review

Hello everyone!

I finally have my review of the Zoya Petals Spring 2016 Collection ready. I've had swatches ready but no time to write. The Petals collection consists of six polishes in soft spring shades; Leia, Aster, Azalea, Zahara, Tulip, and Laurel.

Let's get right to it shall we. Get ready for lots of pictures! I did the best I could to get color accurate photos.

Leia is described as a sheer opalescent white with flecks of fuchsia, green and gold. Just as beautiful alone as it is layered over your favorite spring shades! My above swatch shows three thin coats plus top coat under indirect lighting. I love the pink flecks!

I layered one coat of Leia over two coats of Zoya Lake. I loved it! It also looks gorgeous over black.

Aster is described as a fresh periwinkle with flecks of fuchsia to create a dewy finish, mimicking the look of spring flowers in the morning. My above swatch shows three thin coats plus top coat under indirect light.

Tulip is described as a pure pastel salmon cream with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic a petal soft finish. My above swatch shows three thin coats plus top coat under indirect light.

Laurel is described as a warm pastel pink with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic a petal soft finish. My above swatch shows two coats plus top coat under indirect light. May require three coats if doing thin coats.

I did some comparisons between Tulip, Laurel and Zahara since they seem to look a lot alike in the bottles. As you can see they are very different color wise and even their formulas are different. Zahara and Laurel have a better formula than Tulip. Tulip's formula is on the thin side so the first coat is very patchy but it evens out by the third coat. Zahara has the most shimmer in it.

I love this collection. I think it's perfect for spring. I do wish they had included a minty shade though.  But I can't pick a favorite since I do like them all. Our weather has started to get better and it's starting to feel like spring so I can't wait to use these for spring nail art!
