Valentine Hearts

Hey there!

Happy Valentine's Day! If you don't celebrate then happy Tuesday!

I recreated a design I did last year but with some Zoya Pixie Dusts. I think I like last years better.

Zoya Nail Polish Zooey
I did two coats of Zoya Zooey from The Seashells collection and applied one coat of Seche Vite. Then I did some hearts on the corners with Zoya Chyna. I didn't apply any more top coat because I like the texture.

Here's a look in the sun. I love the sparkles! What do you guys think? Click HERE to take a look at last years design.

Hope you guys enjoyed this look. Thanks for stopping by :)

By the way did you know Zoya is having a BOGO sale right now? Don't wait! Take advantage of this sale! Offer valid through 2/19/17

Mix and Match Valentine's Day Nails

Hello there!

Today I have my first nail design for Valentine's Day. I can't wait to do more before Valentine's gets here! I did a cute little mix n match. Let's take a look at it.

Left to right: O.P.I Infinite Shine Primer, Gloss,
Black Onyx, Big Apple Red

I used O.P.I Infinite Shine polishes for this look. I started out with the the primer/base coat. Then I applied two coats of Black Onyx on my index, middle, and pinky nails and two coats of Big Apple Red on my thumb and ring nails. I waited for about three minutes for the final coat to dry. I did a dotticure on my thumb, index and ring nails. On my middle nail I wrote out the word Love in white and went over it with Big Apple Red. I did the same thing with the tiny heart on my pinky.

O.P.I Big Apple Red

I waited for everything to be fully dry before using the Infinite Shine Gloss top coat and I floated the brush. I didn't want anything to smear.

I really love how this turned out. It kind of goes with the Love tattoo I recently got on my ring finger (insert cheesy face here).

Let me know what you guys think of this look. Thanks for stopping by :)

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I have these yummy looking nails today for day 12 of 14 days of Valentine's!

Valentine's Day is two days away and one thing I would like to get that day or any other day besides nail polish would be chocolate covered strawberries!

OPI Chic From Ears To Tail

I was inspired by some dark chocolates with strawberry filling and a wallpaper I found on Pinterest. The wallpaper is white with some chocolate covered strawberries and hearts. I tried this look on a white base but it just wasn't photographing right. So I did it over pink Instead.

I used three coats of OPI Chic From Ears To Tail plus top coat. I did random strawberry shapes with red polish, added the stems with green acrylic paint and for the chocolate part I used brown polish. I added some random dots and hearts and top coated. I topped it off with Zoya Matte Velvet top coat.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Another look at these strawberry nails with my chocolates. I was eating these while I painted. And no I didn't share lol.

I hope you guys enjoy this look!

Thank you for reading! :)

Glitter Neutral Nails

How about a little break from all the reds and pinks!

For today's post of 14 days of Valentine's I have this neutral glittery look. Who doesn't like nudes for Valentine's Day?

zoya-magical-pixie-dust
Zoya Bar

I did two coats of Zoya Godiva followed by one coat of Zoya Bar. I added a little gold heart stud for the accent nail with a bit of top coat.

I wanted the texture so I didn't add top coat. If you don't like texture apply two coats of top coat to smooth down the glitter.

I loved how sparkly this looked in direct light/sun yet a bit subtle indoors.

What will you be wearing on your nails for Valentine's Day? Let me know below and don't forget to take a look at the other ladies posts on the InLinkz.

Thank you for looking. Happy polishing!

Heart Nails

Hey guys!

It's day 3 of 14 days of Valentine's where each day I'll show you guys a different Valentine look until the 14th. Check out the other ladies posts on the InLinkz at the bottom of this post.

Today I recreated (more like took inspiration) from @just1nail on IG. She did these super cute hearts on the corners of her nails and I just had to try it too! Check  hers out right here on her IG page.

Zoya Renee

Zoya Renee, Zoya April, Zoya Tomoko
Seche Vite Top Coat, BPS brush item #18519

I used Zoya April from the Transitional Whispers Collection as my base. I did two coats plus top coat. Then with my small detail brush from Bornpretty I outlined the heart on the corner of my nail and then filled it in with Zoya Renee. I wanted a bit of sparkle so I outlined the top of the heart with Zoya Tomoko.
I waited for it to dry and top coated with Seche Vite.

Inspired by @just1nail

Here's a better look at the hearts. Aren't they cute? I really loved this look. You can use heart vynils if you aren't able to draw the hearts or even a stamp could work too.

Hope you guys love this look. Stay tuned for more art and let me know if there's anything you would like to see.

Happy polishing!

Mickey and Minnie Love

It's day 2 of our 14 days of Valentine's series!

I'm a big Disney fan and I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I love this picture where they're giving eachother a smooch so I decided to try and draw them on my nails. Aren't they so cute? Excuse the weird lighting. I wanted to show the sparkle of the polish.

Fancy Gloss Eternal Love

I used Fancy Gloss Eternal Love. I thought the name was perfect! And it's gorgeous!

Drawing those itty bitty images on my nails turned out to be harder than I thought. So instead I tried drawing them on my DRK nails pink mat and turning them into decals. It took about three tries to get them to look right! One thing to remember though is that if you're making a decal it's going to turn out the opposite way. If you look for this image on Google they're both facing the other way lol.
Whatever I still think they look cute.

Here's another look with the images lined up. For the hearts I used heart vynils from Glammymani with an unlabeled OPI mini glitter polish. I loved these so much I was very sad when I had to take them off. Nail art problems!

Hope you guys like these! Let me know if there's anything you would like to see!
Happy polishing :)

Valentine's Day Dotticure

It's February! Are you guys ready for Valentine's Day nails? No? Well I am. I joined a group of ladies to bring you guys 14 days of Valentines. Each day I'll show you a different Valentine's Day look. You can check out the other ladies links at the bottom of this post.

I'm starting out with this cute simple dotticure.

Color Club Feathered Hair Out There

I used 2 coats of Color Club Feathered Hair Out There as a base. I did my dots with the smallest dotting tool I have. I used a red and light purple polish for the dots on my index, ring, and pinky nails, while on my middle nail I used a rose gold as well as red polish.

For the accent nail I used a tiny detailing brush with light pink acrylic paint to outline the words "Be Mine" When I was happy with how they looked I went over it with red polish. Waited for everything to dry and applied my top coat. Since I wanted a matte look I applied one coat of Zoya Matte Velvet top coat.

I think this is pretty easy for anyone to do. If you don't want to add the words you can always do a heart on the accent nail or just leave the dotticure as is. What do you guys think?

Hope you enjoyed this look. Happy polishing :)
