St. Patrick's Day Collab

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Are ya'll wearing your green? My daughter was asked to wear green today for preschool but unfortunately she has no green. So I sent her in a yellow top. Close enough right?

Anyway back to nails. A group of awesome ladies and I are part of The Nail Art Squad and we did our first group collab for St. Patrick's Day. I'm so excited to be a part of this group! They're all wonderful and so sweet!

The Nail Art Squad

Here's our collage. Didn't they all turn out lovely?
Below you will find the links of the ladies who participated in this collab. Give them a follow and check out their solos on their Instagram pages.

Polish pictured China Glaze Shore Enuff

I used China Glaze Shore Enuff, Zoya Tomoko and Shinespark Polish 90's Kids Collection over Holographic Pearls. My four leaf clovers could use some work but I was in a bit of a rush. I still love how these turned out!

Hope you all enjoyed today's post. If you celebrate St. Patrick's Day stay safe!

Thank you for reading :)

Shinespark Polish Black Cat Sparkle swatch and review

Can it be Halloween already! I've never been too excited about Halloween, until this year!

Today I have some swatches of a fall/Halloween polish from Shinespark Polish called Black Cat Sparkle. It's a black jelly polish with small gold holo hexes and orange circle glitters. It's amazing! I love these types of polishes!

Let's get started!

Black Cat Sparkle in direct sunlight
This is Black Cat Sparkle in direct sunlight. Three coats plus two thin coats of Seche Vite top coat. I find that applying two thin coats of top coat helps smooth everything better.
Black Cat Sparkle in the shade
Black Cat Sparkle with Salon Perfect Matte FX
I applied one coat of Salon Perfect Matte FX to make it matte.

I really enjoyed swatching this polish! I didn't have to do any glitter fishing. I found that it had just the right amount of glitter. I waited in between coats so there wouldn't be any pulling. Like I said before applying two thin coats of top coat helps smooth everything down better.

Black Cat Sparkle is available now at Shinesparkpolish.com it is only available in full size and retails for $8.00

There is also an orange crelly called Jack O'Lantern which I don't have, also available only in full size.

I love this collection! Very smooth formula, dries quick, it's not runny, and the colors are gorgeous. I can see myself using these on their own or doing some stamping over them. My favorites are Hot Cocoa and Autumn Sky! Love them! Which are your favorites?

This collection is currently out of stock but Molly plans on restocking on September 3 maybe sooner so keep an eye out on her Instagram page.

Full size collection retails for $36, individuals for $8. Mini size collection retails for $16.50 and minis for $3.50. Get yours at www.shinesparkpolish.com as soon as they're available!

Bestie Triplet Nails

Hello lovelies!

So I've been wanting to blog about my nail art again like I did in the beginning. I thought I would start back up again with these BTN I did with some friends on Instagram
@polished_ink and @baes_nails

We knew we wanted to use M Polish stamping polish. This was a group custom from Facebook. The custom is called Berry Best Friends. It's a  Berry colored holographic stamping polish! Love it!

After we decided we were going to do stamping we needed to decide on the base color and the image. I took some inspiration from an orange colored dress I found on Pinterest. So our base color was going to be an orange-y color.

Picking the image was a bit tougher because we don't all have the same stamping plates. How is that possible?

Anyway we finally decided on an image that looked similar. The original image I wanted to use was too small for all my nails so I picked a different one.

All this took a couple days. I love the result and seeing them all together!

Here is my solo:

The base I used was Shinespark Polish Traditional The Grace. The image is from Moyou London ProXL-10

Close up:

Have you done twin/triplet/quad nails with anyone? What do you think of them?

Hope you guys like our BTN. Thank you for reading. See you soon :)

Shinespark Polish Inner Beauty Collection swatches and review

**this collection was bought with a blogger discount**

Hello my lovelies! Today I have swatches from Shinespark Polish Inner Beauty Collection inspired by Sailor Moon.

Left Row:
Messenger of Flame
Traditional the Grace
The Last Change (indoor)

Right Row:
Zigzag Slash
Drive Me the Mercury
The Last Change (direct sunlight)

Let's begin!

Messenger of Flame:

2 coats plus top coat. Beautiful red polish with purple/silver shimmer through out. The formula is great. It's smooth and self levels after the second coat. This polish dries to a semi matte finish but I top coated it.

Macro:

Traditional the Grace:

3 coats plus top coat. A beautiful orange polish with a hint of blue shimmer. It's a bit sheer which is why I used 3 coats for full opacity. Also dries to a semi matte finish. It was a bit hard to get a color accurate photo. It's a bit darker in real life.

Macro:

Zigzag Slash:

2 coats plus top coat. This photographed lighter than it actually is. It's a like a forest green color with gold/blue shimmer. The formula was a bit thick on this one but not hard to work with.

Macro:

Drive Me the Mercury:

2 coats plus top coat. Beautiful frosty blue polish with sliver shimmer. Very easy to work with. This one is one of my favorites!

Macro:

The Last Change indoor:

3 coats plus top coat. This is a sun reactive polish. Beautiful silver polish with subtle holo glitter indoor.

Macro indoor:

The Last Change direct sunlight:

In the sun it changes from silver to a deep pink/purple jewel tone color. I love this polish! I really like the inbetween stage. It's a pale sparkly pink and it's beautiful but so hard to get a photo.

Macro direct sunlight:

Overall I love this collection. They're colors I'm not used to and that's a good thing. The formula on all these is very easy to work with. Not dissapointed and I look forward to more collections from this maker.

Which was your favorite from this collection? My favorites are Messenger of Flame, Drive Me the Mercury and The Last Change! Have you tried Shinespark Polish?

This collection is available now. Full size set retails for $36, full size individuals $8. Mini full set $16.50 and individual minis $3.75

More Shinespark Polish!

Hello!
I meant to post this early this morning but life got in the way!

I've two more swatches of Shinespark Polish to share with you. These were also purchased by moi :)

Left: Magento
Right: Silence Surprise

First up we have Silence Surprise. Here's the description from the creator herself:
A beautiful indigo jelly (blurple, if you will!) with a lovely holographic flair, Silence Surprise holds its holo secret well until it hits the sunlight!

I did the same as my other swatches. 2 coats over a white base plus top coat on index and middle finger. Ring and pinky I did 3 coats. I feel like using an undie helps make it more opaque. It's light so it takes a couple coats to build up.

I took a quick photo outside but the sun was about to hide. My photos don't do this one justice. It's a beautiful jelly with scattered holo glitter!

The second polish is Magento. I freaking love this one! I don't have anything like it so that may be a reason why I love this one so much.

Description from its creator:
A beautiful magenta holographic polish, Magento is one that will get people talking! Subtly shimmery indoors, this polish declares its shine in the sunlight!

And she's totally right! You don't see the sparkles as much indoors but it's there!

Again I used a white base on index and middle finger followed by two coats plus top coat. Ring and pinky only used two coats plus top coat. Formula is amazing in this one!

Took a quick snapshot outside. I did this one before Silence Surprise so I caught a little bit of the sun, but one of my neighbors was walking towards the entrance. I panicked and felt like she was judging me lol! So again my photo doesn't do this one justice! :(

I did take one with flash indoors though. No white base two coats plus top coat.

I love this! Did I say that already? I think I did! I can't wait for summer! I would wear this all summer long! But I won't because I don't want to finish the bottle! Unless I get some backups ;)

What do you guys think of these? Check out more swatches of these polishes on @shinesparkpolish Instagram and on her website.
