Formula X: The System Xcel Review

Hello!

I have been a member of the Influenster program for a while now and I've received a couple boxes and they have been awesome but I have never received nail polish in any of them until now. If you haven't heard of the Influenster program before I'll tell you about it. Influenster is a product discovery platform where you can discover new products, write reviews and share your favorite products. When you sign up you fill out surveys to see if you qualify for any of their VoxBoxes. When you do qualify for a VoxBox you check in your box when you receive it, you review the items and share on your media sites. Pretty easy right? If you would like to join I'll leave my signup link at the bottom.

So this month I received the Formula X The System Xcel box which includes Delete All 5-finger nail polish remover, nail cleanser, base coat, top coat and the color TGIF. This is a gel like system that may last up to ten days.

Formula X The System Xcel

I only wore this for five days so I'll show you my results.

I removed my old polish and cleaned my nails with the Cleanse Xcel nail cleanser then I applied the base coat followed by two coats of TGIF. The formula on TGIF was great and I love the color. I waited for each coat to dry and finished my mani with the Shine Xcel topcoat. Full mani probably took about 15 min to complete.

Day 1
TGIF day 1
Day 5
Close up day 5

This didn't start chipping until day 5 on my left hand, my right hand had a tiny chip on my index finger on day 4. I was pretty rough with my hands doing mommy duties and I also just started a part time job this week.

To remove the polish I stuck two fingers in the Delete All nail polish remover and it took it off pretty quick.
Probably took a minute or two  to remove the polish from all ten nails.

I have to say that the results are pretty great. I will definitely be using this system a lot, now I just have to get more colors. What do you guys think? Like the results? Will you be trying this system? Let me know below.

Thank you for stopping by!

Rainbow gradient nails

Today I have some rainbow gradient nails. I used the Formula X Infinite Ombre kit. The kit comes with a silver base and 4 jelly type polishes: Platinum Prime, Infinite Indigo, Boundless Berry, Limitless Lemon, and Timeless Teal. You can find the kit here.

I applied one coat of the platinum prime and then sponged on silver holo glitter, Zoya Cosmo. I applied one coat of Seche Vite top coat to smooth down the glitter. Then I applied the four color jellies on a latex free make up wedge at a slant and dabbed it on the nail. Repeated this twice. I added one final coat of Seche Vite.

On the ring finger I waited for the top coat to be fully dry before applying the unicorn vynil from eatsleeppolish.com and dabbed on some white polish. Top coated and done.

What do you guys think of this look? I loved it. I did something similar a couple weeks ago but I did some black stamping over the gradient.

Hope you guys enjoyed this mani.
See you next time :)
