Zoya Ash

Zoya Ash macro
Zoya Ash is described as a vibrant cherry with a red and gold metallic shimmer. I felt like the gold shimmer didn't quite translate on the nail. You can see it a bit on the macro photo. My swatch shows two coats plus top coat.

Zoya Troy

Zoya Troy macro
Zoya Troy is described as a liquid pewter with a foil finish and an edgy touch of black and gold. I felt very meh about this one honestly. You can see the gold shimmer more on the bottle than on the nail. My swatch shows two coats plus top coat. I almost had it opaque in one coat though.

Overall I did enjoy this part of the collection. I was very excited about the scattered holos, they're gorgeous! Formulas on all these are nice and smooth. I have not tested if these stamp or not but I'm sure most do. I did do a watermarble with the holos though as you can see below. I think they watermarbled nicely. Almost forgot to mention, I did the watermarble over two coats of Alicia.

Let me know which ones are your favorites. I would love to know what you guys think of this whole collection.

Bestie Twin Nails & Bornpretty Review

Hello!

Today I'm reviewing some nail protectors/stickers from bornprettystore.com item #27347. These are perfect for when you are out of liquid latex and want to save time on clean up on gradients, watermarbles, or stamping. Let's take a look at them.

Item #27347 from bornprettystore.com

This is how the nail protectors come. There are 10 in a package. They are very easy to peel off. They are available in 5 different colors but I really don't think the color matters.

I ended up using all 10 for a gradient I had planned on doing. These protectors were perfect. Just the right amount of stickiness to them. I actually placed them on before applying my white base. I didn't want to smudge it. I used OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI, two thin coats no top coat.

For this gradient I used Fresh Paint Honeydew, Sinful Colors Tempest, and Zoya Kitridge.

As you can see they did a good job at protecting my fingers from the mess. I had very little clean up to do.

Here is the final result. I topped my gradient off with Zoya Leia, Sinful Colors Pink Ansen, Seche Vite, and Zoya Matte Velvet top coat. These were actually a part of some BTN I did with @thatrighthandtho from Instagram. I really love how they came out and I'm happy I did both hands, all 10 fingers!!

And here is our collage along with the inspo picture I found on Pinterest. Make sure to check out @thatrighthandtho's page and give her a follow. She's got some gorgeous manis!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think of these nail protector stickers and our BTN too of course. You can get your own at bornprettystore.com You can use my code SMPX31 for 10% off regular priced items. They offer worldwide free shipping!

Mallory ZP853
Mallory is described as a full bodied, vibrant prussian blue with a deeply saturated color. I did two thin coats plus top coat for my swatch to avoid flooding and staining my cuticles.

August ZP854
August is described as a full coverage gray, like a fine expensive leather with a mid-ranged, balanced tone. It's the perfect one coat gray! My swatch shows one carefully applied thick coat plus top coat.

Wyatt ZP855
Wyatt is described as a true racing green with a deep pigment. My swatch shows two thin coats plus top coat to avoid flooding my cuticles.

Courtney ZP856
Courtney is described as a deep red beet root shade. I love this color! Again my swatch shows two thin coats plus top coat.

zoya-nail-polish-urban-grunge-fall-2016
Tara ZP857
Tara is described as a purple plum with a balanced tone between red and purple. Two thin coats plus top coat.

zoya-nail-polish-urban-grunge-fall-2016
Noah ZP858
Noah is described as a mid-ranged taupe evenly balanced between yellow and grey. My swatch shows one carefully applied thick coat plus top coat.

I did some looks with these polishes to test out their stamping abilities and watermarbling.

Zoya Wyatt
I wanted to see Wyatt matte so I did this sort of ruffian style look.

Zoya August, Mallory, and Matte Velvet
Mallory stamped over August with BP-X03 and topped with Zoya Matte Velvet top coat.

Tara, Wyatt, and Courtney stamped over Noah with BP-X09.

Wyatt, Noah, and Mallory watermarbled on ring and pinky fingers.

Overall this is a beautiful fall collection. Formulas are very pigmented and when applied carefully they will be one coaters. My habit has always been to do thin coats especially with darker colors.

I hope you enjoyed these swatches. I will be swatching and posting my review of the Metallics & Holos early next week so stay tuned!

Starrily Neutrino Swatch & Nail Art

Today I have a swatch and review of Starrily Neutrino from Live Love Polish. Starrily nail lacquer is a 5 free, cruelty free, handmade brand. Neutrino is stunning so let's get to it.

Look at the cute box! It's a unicorn! I'm definitely keeping this box.

Macro bottle shot
I was messing around taking macro shots and I loved how this photo turned out.

starilly-neutrino-live-love-polish

Starrily Neutrino is a black jelly like polish packed with holographic glitter. My swatch is two easy coats plus seche vite top coat. For me formula is a bit thick but not difficult to apply. Dries fairly quick so there's not much waiting in between coats. It's super sparkly under direct light.

BP-L004

I added some stamping over Neutrino but I didn't want to cover it all up. I used stamping plate BP-L004 from bornprettystore.com with stamping polish from M Polish, Guilded.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and loved this polish.

You can find Starrily Neutrino and more gorgeous polishes at livelovepolish.com
