Lace Nails

Day 13 of 14 days of Valentine's. This is where I run out of ideas! I tried to go for a sexy lacey look.

Let's take a look at what I came up with.

Hard Candy Lace Me Up

Salon Perfect Oil Slick, Sinful Colors Pink Forever, BPL-028,
Hard Candy Lace Me Up, Pink clear jelly stamper from bps, Seche Vite top coat

I used Sinful Colors Pink Forever as my base. On my two middle nails I stamped a chevron lace image using BPL-028 and Salon Perfect Oil Slick. I used this pink clear stamper from bps without any problems.

On my index and pinky I did one coat of Hard Candy Lace Me Up. Lace Me Up is a glitter topper with matte pink and black hex glitters in different sizes. I top coated everything with one coat of Seche Vite.

One more look. It was a bit hard to pose with this kind of bottle. I think I still need to work with placement with the clear stamper.

Holiday Bling Nails!

Hi my loves! 

Can you guys believe its December already? My birthday month! 

Christmas is getting closer so I have these holiday blingy nails to show you guys. I was sent these shiny rhinestones from Bornprettystore to review (item #21586) and I actually couldn't think of how to use them at first but I loved the end result! Keep reading after the break to see what I did with them.

These rhinestones are really pretty. They're very shiny and sort of multi-colored and they come in different sizes, which I really like!

I used two coats of Zoya Amal from the Matte Velvet Holiday 2015 collection without top coat as my base. Then I looked for the two smallest sizes for three of my nails. I added a bit of matte top coat near my cuticle where the rhinestones were going to go. I added three to each nail except the ring finger. I had no idea what I was going to do with that one!

I added some matte top coat and just started adding the rhinestones. I was going for a necklace type look I guess.

Here is the finished look. I loved it! I didn't add any top coat over the rhinestones. If I wanted to wear this for more than a day I would've just added more top coat when placing them. That works very well for me  and I'm very rough with my hands. I think these will be my Christmas nails!

Peacock water decals review

Hey there! 

I've got some pretty Peacock nail art to show you guys today! I received these Peacock water decals from bornprettystore to review a couple weeks ago and I finally got to use them. These are item #21786 option C253 and you can find them here.

Polish Pictured LE F.U.N Lacquer Daydreamer

I applied the water decals on my index and middle nails and paired them with some peacock feather stamping over F.U.N Lacquer Daydreamer. This shade was a LE polish I bought from livelovepolish.com this summer.

The water decals come in this pretty packaging. There's ten images and they come in different sizes. You can select whatever images you want to use. I only used two images for this mani so I can do a couple more manis later on.

The directions to use come on the back of the packaging and are pretty easy to follow. I have seen that some come with the wrong directions so be careful with that.

Rose nail wraps review

Hello!

I've got some nail wraps from Bornprettystore.com to show you today. This mani turned out very springy but I actually love it!

These wraps are nice and sticky. They don't lift on the sides and you can actually top coat them to last a little longer. I kept them on for a day and they were fine. They do have a bit of a plastic smell to them though. I didn't mind the smell.

This is the packaging they came in.

I applied the nail wraps on my ring and pinky and paired them with green on my other nails with a glitter gradient. I finally got to use this glitter polish I received as a gift a couple months ago, Tendresse by Penelope Luz. I cut one of the wraps a bit too short so I applied pink polish to the tip of the nails. It works right? Lol

Bornpretty nail wraps review

Wow can you believe it's November already? 

Today I'm reviewing some nail stickers from Bornprettystore. They're gorgeous but I'm sad to say I was disappointed with them.

I thought these would be perfect for a day or two. I was feeling lazy but I wanted pretty nails.

The packaging looks like this. I actually thought they were water decals at first but then realized they were stickers. 

I applied them on clean bare nails. I trimmed off the excess and pressed them down firmly. I wanted to wear them for a few days so I top coated one and waited to see if it wrinkled or not. It didn't so I went ahead and applied all of the stickers and top coated after I trimmed them. 

Not even 20 minutes later the sides started to peel up. You can see it a bit on my index nail. So I trimmed that bit off and applied another coat of top coat. That seemed to work. Until I had to do mommy dutties like bathe the kids and wash the dishes. A couple of them fell off. I ended up taking them all off. It made me sad because I had applied them to all ten nails!

I think I will recreate these with stamping. This might be my first bad experience with a product from Bornpretty. I don't think it'll stop me from buying stuff from there though.
